Two-time Momentum Award winning jazz guitarist & Maryland native, Drew Davidsen will release his second solo CD Around Again in July on the Creative Soul Jazz label.

The first single from Around Again is called “Astro”, a top-down, summer groove and is a tribute to Davidsen’s father, who was an astrophysicist with NASA’s Space Shuttle program. The track features Jay Rowe, long time member of Special EFX on keys, Dan Needham on drums and Gary Lunn on bass. “Astro” is up-beat with an amazing hook that reels you right in and the production, handled by Eric Copeland at Creative Soul Jazz, is top notch.

This CD also features Dave Krug on sax and a host of other great session players too. In a recent interview Drew said, “What I love about that new project is how 3D it sounds.
